Inverted Yaw Spin: Mastering the Ultimate Freestyle FPV Trick
Common Mistakes to Avoid
6.1 Losing Altitude Too Quickly
- One of the most common mistakes in an Inverted Yaw Spin is losing altitude too quickly during the spin. This happens when too little throttle is applied while the drone is inverted.
How to Fix: Practice maintaining a steady throttle input throughout the spin. Try slightly increasing throttle when you notice the drone losing altitude during the rotation.
6.2 Jerky Yaw Movements
- Another mistake is jerky or uneven yaw input, which can throw off the smoothness of the spin and cause the drone to wobble or drift.
How to Fix: Focus on making smooth, gradual yaw inputs. Avoid over-correcting with large stick movements, and practice controlling the yaw with smaller, more precise inputs.
