This policy covers “Seth’s clone”, a private assistant that Seth Shoultes runs for himself. It is not offered to the public. The only Google accounts it connects to are Seth’s own.
What it reads
With Seth’s permission, the clone reads email (Gmail) and calendar events (Google Calendar) in his own accounts. It uses them to:
- sort and label his email,
- move old newsletters to Trash (Gmail keeps them there for 30 days, so they can be recovered),
- write him a daily summary of what needs his attention.
It never deletes anything permanently, and it never touches starred messages.
Where your data lives
What the clone keeps is stored in Seth’s own Google Cloud project. The sign-in tokens are kept in Google Secret Manager. Nothing is sold, rented or shared with anyone else, and nothing is used for advertising.
Google user data
The clone’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Removing access
Seth can remove the clone’s access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Removing it stops all reading straight away.
