Orbit with Speed Variation: Dynamic FPV Circling for Cinematic Flair
Common Mistakes to Avoid
6.1 Jerky Speed Changes
- A common mistake is making jerky speed adjustments, where the drone speeds up or slows down too suddenly, causing the orbit to look uneven or unpolished.
How to Fix: Focus on making smooth, gradual transitions between fast and slow phases. Avoid over-correcting with sharp stick movements. Practice making small, consistent adjustments to both yaw and roll.
6.2 Losing Altitude
- Another issue is losing altitude during the orbit, especially when speeding up. This happens when the drone’s speed increases without corresponding throttle adjustments.
How to Fix: Pay close attention to throttle input as you speed up. Gradually increase throttle to counteract the centrifugal force that can pull the drone downward during faster orbits.
