Best Practices with SASS/SCSS

Organize Your Code with Partials:

Use partials to organize your styles by components (e.g., _header.scss, _footer.scss) to keep your codebase clean and modular.

Use Variables Consistently:

Define variables for key values like colors, fonts, and spacing in a single file (e.g., _variables.scss) so you can easily make site-wide changes by updating the variable.

Leverage Mixins and Functions:

Avoid repetitive code by creating reusable mixins for common tasks like vendor prefixes or reusable layouts.

Minimize Deep Nesting:

Nesting makes code more readable, but deep nesting can increase specificity unnecessarily. Limit your nesting to two or three levels to avoid overly specific selectors.

Use @extend Sparingly:

While @extend can be useful, overuse can create large and difficult-to-maintain CSS files. Use it carefully, and prefer mixins for more control over how styles are applied.
