Mastering Banked Turns
A basic turn simply involves yawing the drone left or right, but this can make your movements seem stiff. To fly more naturally and dynamically, you'll need to combine yaw with roll and pitch for smooth banked turns.
How to Execute a Banked Turn:
- Yaw in the desired direction using the left stick.
- Roll (right stick) to tilt the drone sideways in the same direction as the yaw.
- Slightly pitch forward (right stick) to maintain speed during the turn.
By combining yaw, roll, and pitch, the drone will "bank" like an airplane, making your movements smoother and more controlled.
Pro Tip:
Practice flying in wide circles using banked turns to develop muscle memory for the combined stick movements.
