Quick Stops (Emergency Stops)

Sometimes, quick reactions are necessary to prevent a crash or avoid obstacles. Mastering the quick stop is essential for maintaining control in emergencies.

How to Perform a Quick Stop:

1. Throttle Down: Reduce the throttle slightly to slow the drone.
2. Apply Reverse Pitch: Push the right stick backward to slow the forward momentum.
3. Adjust yaw if necessary to face a new direction or avoid the obstacle.

Practical Use:

This is particularly useful when flying fast or near objects like trees and buildings. Learning to stop quickly and precisely will prevent accidents during complex flights.
