Video: What Happened to All Bobs Paintings?
For each episode of the Joy of Painting, Bob created three versions of the artwork. One was made before the episode as a visual reference, the second was completed during the show, and the third was used for his books. This means that there are hundreds of Bob Ross paintings in existence. However, aside from a few displayed in the Smithsonian National Museum of American History, the rest are simply in storage. Watch the short film below to learn more about the story of Bob’s paintings.
